Will a really big person destroy my seat?
I may have to give my coworker a ride in my TA tomorrow. He is well over 450lbs. Is this save for my stock passenger seat? Will it cause any damage during a 20 minute drive??? I don't mean to offend anyone, and I am by no means a small person (250lbs), but I'm worried about the seat. I seem to be just a bit larger than what the chair will hold, and I have developed a small seam tear over the course of 60K miles. Is anyone here much bigger than me? Hows your seat holdin' up?

Between your 250lbs and his 450lbs, I'd be EXTRA careful about any parking lot entrances or exit and speed bumps, etc. Seeing as you already have a lowered car with a low hanging SLP Y-pipe, the extra weight will reduce your ground clearance even further and make your exhaust an even bigger target for removal via contact with the pavement.

should be perfectly fine for one ride home in it. I have a friend who is over 300 lbs and he owns his own trans am and his is fine. His also happens to be a 500hp garage queen with 19,000 miles so not driving it much helps alot. I weigh 180 and mine has gotten very minimal wear on it (70k+ miles) from gettin in and out over time especially from having my cell phone in my left pocket, it rubs alot. Most of my damage was already there by the previous owner i treat my stuff like gold\ theres no way me weighing 180 will damage anything anytime soon. Anyways back to you, its all good with the interior just watch out for the exhaust and the road more than anything like someone already mentioned. Youd be surprised how much a few hundred pounds drops your car. Lookin like eibach sportlines stage 3 in that ****

Oh, man, that's funny. Just think if in a few days, he comes up and says, "Dude, I liked your car so much, I went out and got my own LS1 F-Body!"
Then, he gets on here and reads this thread.
Seriously, though, I hate when people, especially big guys, get in my car and crash against the bolster!!! I had an Auto Zone guy scan my car. He was ******* RUDE to the already-thin bolster of my white leather seats. i wish they'd fire that guy. Can't get any answers out of him. ******* wet brain.
