Race Question....
Race Question.... Theres a guy around town that has a 05 GT 5speed with SLP exhaust and he thinks that its hot ****! All he does is talk down on my 98 TA 6speed, SLP Exhaust and 160 thermostat. I just ordered my LS7 clutch to go in my car and whenever I get it done, Im gonna try him. What do you think the outcome will be? Thanks
Hes really gettin on my nerves talkin about how fast Mustang's are, I just want him to shut up! He thinks his window luvers add an extra 20 horse's and that the new GT's come with 350 hp stock to the wheels. He really needs to be kicked in the sack after I walk on his car!

I would use the term "stomp" loosely here. You should be able to beat him by a fair ammount, but don't expect bus lengths or anything-especially if you are racing on the street. Not trying to rain on the parade or anything-just keeping things in perspective.
you will win, easy as that. if it was a cobra different story but there's always an outcome to that one to but the GT might as well just be the V6. race him and call it a night and when you beat him with exhaust and a thermostat which does basicly nothing laugh in his face

you will win...i raced one with my car (before nitrous)...2 other people in mine...just driver in his...i was walking away from him...not that quickly though

I raced my good buddies 05 gt 5 speed 2 nights ago. he's completely stock. I weigh 175 and my friend that was with me weighs 210. from 10-100 i beat him by 3 1/2 cars. Now, granted I do have true duals, but still it's not like true duals are nitrous or anything. YOU WILL WIN.
i beat a rousch stage 2 05 GT with my trans am when it was mostly stock minus, a lid, filter, loudmouth, and 160 stat. That was from like a 20 roll to about 100.
If you can drive and he can drive...it may be close, but you'll take him by a car give or take. If you can drive and he cant...you will wreck him, and if he can drive and you cant...well then he has a good chance of pulling you a little. Go from a roll where driver mod doesnt play as much of a roll, and you should be the new hot **** of town.
