You get alot of speed and handling for the money when it comes to the Z06. But speed and handling is not everything. Like the statements on page 2. You see vettes everyday. "What makes panties more wet? Vette or Ferrari/Lambo/Porshe??? Plus..you see Vettes everyday (well z06's every other day).."

The answer to this question will be affected greatly depending if you are into cars or into image. If you are more of the primitive mind and buy a car because it is your passion many will probably find the Z06 hard to beat (based on price vs. performance). If you have the money and want to impress the Z06 will probably not be a consideration.

I pulled the same ***** in my firebird as I did in my C5. IT NOT ABOUT THE CAR!

I'm with you, i think every Porsche looks exactly the same and are FUGLY. And if you need a car to pick up girls thats a damn shame. I'd take a Z06 over any of that exotic ****, and still beat 90% of them with the air on high. Because in this country no one has those cars, Z06 = king of american streets, hands down. And the people that complain about interrior... who cares? No one wants to buy a Vette because of interrior, they buy it for the gas pedal and the look.

HELL YEAH!! You know what it is? It's the old "transference" Supra syndrome. Fanboyzz think that just because something is fast/quick, it also has to be the BEST looking thing on the planet as well.
Now granted, properly modded MKIV 2JZGTEs and Carerra GTs are crazy fast, and the Porsche sounds insane when revved, but IMO they are quite FAR from the "most beautiful things in all of autodom" as a lot think of them.

Quite a few cars in this "500 HP Club" seem to top it that I wouldn't think outperform the Z06 in every way, but I was surprised to see Mercedes owning it up so well:

okay, WOW this thread has gone way astray... yes we understand european exotics might be the most awesome to some, but who cares... the fact of the matter is if you rely on a car to get you laid, damnit you better wrap that thing up. sorry folks, ***** go for "hot" rides.
