ok, idk if u guys have it, but i have a sound when i put the key in ignition, and turn it to on (but dont start car) and i hear this whining sound for a couple seconds then it goes away. if any of u kno wut im tlking about, i have it when the cars running too! I just drove a bout an hour in 100 degree weather and wondering if tht had to do with it. otherwise i hope its not my fuel pump going out? anyybody kno wut noise im talking about

It's just normal fuel pump noise, nothin to worry about, unless it's REALLY loud and starts to slow down

Yeah I had that same sounds on my 02 SS, and It drove just fine for the 4yrs I had it.

Did you just start noticing it? It is the fuel pump, but if it's gotten louder suddenly the pump could be on it's way out.
