Default How to tell if Trac Control is on

I have a 1LE Z28 hence no options at all. My friend who is really newb to driving sports cars is buying a 02 Z28 and I belive it has trac control. I told him he should leave it on at all times, then he agrees and asks where the button is.

I know in a TransAM its by the lighter and there is an orange light when its on, and on the vettes its near the shifter. Where is it in the Z28s?

Sorry if its a dumb question, but the car has no owners manual and Google didn't help much. Thanks.

On top by the fog light switch above the radio. Says ASR on it and it also has the little orange light. You can tell it's off cause a little light on the cluster will come on saying ASR OFF.

It is the two button looking pieces to the left of the CAMARO emblem above the stereo. One is for ASR and one is for fog lights. If you don't have them, there would just be a plastic piece there.

If he can't find the button, he doesn't have traction control. Want to look further? pop the hood, two cables going to the throttle body and he doesn't have traction control. Traction control cars will only have one cable going to the throttle body, because the cable from the pedal and the cruise control both go into the traction control box and then a single cable comes over to the throttle body
