Default F*&^ The heat.

After driving back and fourth through town all day, just before I got to the freeway to go to work, I think I blew an AC Line? Looks like it's near the bottom left side.

Description: Driving courteously, when all of a sudden, "PSHHH" *sound*
and some light smoke in the car. Then what smelled to me like freon on exhaust manifold?

How much of a bitch is it going to be for me to get to the problem?

Oh yeah, the ac blows warm air now...

Cool I'll take a look at the classifieds.
It's about 110 degrees right now so AC is a necessity.

I hear ya, lol. The dealership was going to charge something like $85 for the hose but I had a couple people offer me one on here for around $20 or $25

My uncle owns an autoparts store, so i can get a new one at his cost.

That's the reservoir hose right?

Is that the hose you replaced SScott?

I havent even had a chance to check it out yet. I'll jack it up and take a look tomorrow morning.

That is the main hose, it goes from the condensor, to the compressor, to the drier. Mine busted back in July..we just all of a sudden heard a loud 'pssshhhh' and thin white smoke started floating around (refrigerant) and my waterpump had just worn a hole in that hose.
