If you really want an SUV I say go ahead and get it, you can always get a new Vette later down the line when you get tired of an SUV. As some one else said though, I would not trade the Vette in. I would just sell it myself.

I say do it...if you want/need an SUV what could be better than an SUV thats just as fast as a stock F-body?? What about the trailblazer SS? Have you considered them?

 

one of the VP's at my work has an SRT8 Cherokee and the thing gets, I kid you not, 9 mpg average.. usually he does mostly city driving though and is a lead foot but man thats horrible mileage no matter how you look at it. Also he's had a slew of electrical problems with the thing and had to do the brakes once already with not even 18K on the clock. THey are quick but man I'd save the cash over that SRT8 and get a regular SUV of some kind instead and jump in the fast car when you want some power.

 

I'd try to get that one for $8,900 and keep the Corvette.

 

a 12 second suv would be a fun daily driver, until you try to make a turn. do whatever you want.

So let me get this str8.... You want a AWD SUV w/ 500hp,runs 12's,cooks breakfast,gives BJ's and gets 30mpg???

 

We are still working on the Jeep deal, but I doubt it's going to happen now..
