If the compressor is running and its still not getting cold then it probably means the compressor is not circulating. I just replaced my compressor, orifice tube and receiver dryer. You have to replace the orifice tube and receiver dryer in order to get a warranty for the compressor. If you do need a new compressor then I'd get one from Advance Auto Parts web-site. Thats what I did. I saved $65 by getting it from the web-site instead of buying it in a store. I had to wait 2 weeks to get it but my LS1 is not my daily driver. You can almost always get parts cheaper from their web-site rather than getting them in the store.
