Default Exhaust rattle

Hey I got an rattle in my exhaust that I can feel when I am driving. I vibrates my seat when I am at a stop in Drive. It goes away if I put the car in neutral or park but rattles in every other gear. Does it just need tightened or is it something else? I listened to it and it and it sounds like its coming from the Y pipe area. I'm still running the stock cats and Y pipe but had a catback put on it a couple months ago.

If it's vibrating your seat, the exhaust is touching the underside of the car somewhere.

Yup yup!!,...thats it right there!

Same thing too. It would stop when in Neutral. ...Another thing you might want to check is the exhaust hanger nearest to the tranny.

Well I found the problem. The new problem is I can't fix it. It's the band clamp where the I-pipe meets the Y-pipe. Damn nut wouldn't budge. I'm gunna take it to the shop tomorrow to get the rear end leak fixed so if they are done early enough I'm try to go to meinekee and see if they'll fix it for free since they are the ones who put the exhaust on and obviously didn't tighten it down enough.

I had the same problem, Factory exhuast hit a speed bump and knocked that clamp loose. Lucky for me I bought my car in California and as able to just tighten it up.
