Definitely check the law and get it tested to make sure you will pass. My powerboat has a supercharged big block with open headers and I get stopped on the water all the time because it is very loud. I know it passes by 2db at idle so they can check all they want and I can open it up all I want. Its great when you can get away with it.

Its that kind of thinking that get loud exhaust people in trouble. We have Harleys on our street, we have loud cars also. They are just respectfull of other people on the street. They take it easy going down the block. When they get on the main road then they open it up. We all get along real good and no one say anything. Same thing goes for the thumping music. They are just cool on our street. After that, to each is own.

You should have the right to drive on you own road. Check the law though.
I never get complaints about mine and I live in a nice neighborhood. Guess it could just be because it's Oklahoma. LOL

You are so right. But why give them a excuse to complain. Just be cool down your own street and they cant say anything.
