Hello, i'm currently driving a 98 t/a bone stock (no plans to mod, only exhaust), 57 k on the clock and i want my exhaust to sound like this (turn volume up, video has low sound) http://youtube.com/watch?v=99cdtUYT7...elated&search=
-look at the attention this car gets/COMMANDS! listen to that sound as it accelerates! i think it sounds awesome! he's not even going that fast and that thing sounds unbelievable! i want my car to sound just like that! i want to get that type of feel to my car. or if thats not possible, then i want my car to sound muscle car loud and fast i know a lambo isn't a muscle car and my t/a aint no italian exotic, but ****, that sound just sounds so fast, wild and dominant! i need my car to sound like this... how do i do it? i don't want to mod my car at all, just add one ******* bad arrogantly loud exhaust system. my exhaust is currently/sadly stock. i know i'm going to get flamed for this post, but hey, i like what i like AND I DON'T NEED ANYONE TO CHANGE MY MIND, if you like lambos and the way they sound then SWEET! tell me how to get that sound, or even volume. mine is too quiet. and if you didn't like that video, and you hate exotics, and/or just want to be an ignorant/narrow minded hate mongered red neck, then Fu*k off pu*sy, don't need your **** talking ***** *** talking **** safely behind your computer! Those cars use a flat-plane crank and that's what helps produce that shreak when they accel (among other things). With a car like ours you'll get more of a throaty sound. But if you are looking for the higher pitch like the Lambo/Ferrari you should take a look at the Corsa system. It produces the higher pitch in the upper RPMs that I think you'd like but is nice sounding at idle. Do the Corsa cat-back and some LTs and you'll get your high-pitch attention getting sound.

Honestly if you like that sound so much just sell your T/A and buy any 4 or 6 Cylinder import, sounds about the same to ME...

As for setting up your exhaust to be a really loud Muscle car, IMO you would have to at LEAST install some Longtube headers to get it sounding like a real car.

buddy just go ahead and hang out on ls1tech a bit more and get some longtubes a 3 inch xpipe and 2 flowmaster bullet mufflers.. then you can have a real cars sound. for the record though..

I didn't like the sound the Lambo made. I like an exhaust even when you idle you can't hear the radio unless you turn it up at least half way.

yeah, i don't like an exhaust where i have to turn my radio up because i think some mexican is mowing the lawn next to me and then i figure out it's my own damn exhaust

i like that too! and thats what it looks like i may have to do. i like the corsa and the slp loud mouth 2 sounds so far. still looking around though

first think of what a sawsall does..... then think of what you could cut (off) on your car to make it "arrogantly" loud i think you'll be surprised just how loud and obnoxious it sounds..... enjoy
