You need an 1/4 In torque wrench. I am a mechanic I had to buy a good snap on wrench mine is digital it does nm, inlb, ftlb and converts every thing for me it was only like 50.00 more than a normal one I think I paid 375.00 for it it goes up to 20ftlbs I use it on all the covers on the whlole engine. You an get one from craftman if your a weekend warrior but if you are going to use them alot buy a good one, it worth it

Thats only 2 ft/lbs. With a quarter inch drive tighten it hard with the tips of your fingers. Your typical 1/4" drive rathet is what, 3 inches long? thats 8lbs of force, imagine moving an 8 pound weight with your finger tips, its pretty tough...try to get the same pressure with the ratchet.
am i the only one who does this? lol

I've got a 3/8 drive, dial type Snap On. It was new back in '84 when a guy that used to work for my uncle gave it to me, I was 12. He was retiring and he passed away a few months later. So it may be old but I take real good care of it. It reads from 0 up to ?
