We were 16 and bulletproof then though... I don't care for speeds in excess of 130 now, just like to get there as fast as possible.

Awesome man! I haven't been quite that fast in mine yet. I only had 1 mile from curve to curve where I was. The speedo was buried, but the shift-light hadn't come on, which would have indicated ~170 (according to the gear calculator), so I was between 160-170. It's an awesome feeling I must say!

I was well well past the 150 mph of the speedo... first it got really windy... then halfway through 6th gear (HAD to be 175) the windshield wipers shot to the upright position (they were off) and now theyre broken, I had to push them down.... hehe ya it was crazy

I miss those days. I haven't been able to drive my car for a while, but I buried the speedo in my stock camaro on an empty highway. What did your future sister's father in Law say after you did that

The sis in laws pappy was like damn thats fast he said hes gonna bring it to work to show his freinds. If im a *** for going those speeds on a 6-12 mile straight away late at night with out any houses on the road I guess the parents is on the same level for letting a kid play in the road. Kid would have better luck being adopted by chris benoit

No, not GM. Nothing to do with GM. The car wasn't designed to go that fast. Take a Ford not designed to go that fast, guess what happens? Toyota, Honda, Dodge, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, any of them over the speed they're designed to go, stuff like that happens.
/rant on people blaming GM for everything

Since your going so fast, the wind blowing past the windows creates a low pressure and pulls them out (since our windows don't have a frame around them thank god) and you get to hear some wind noise.
