This is normal in all F-body's I've driven and other cars too. You would be able to notice it most just off the line when you are giving it light throttle. The AC puts a light load on the engine, some people will notice it, some won't.
At anywhere near WOT, I do not notice the extra load of the AC.. just when starting from a standstill.
People claim they can feel 5hp from a lid but on the flipside do not feel the load of the AC... doesn't make sense to me.
