Default 2000 SS Verify?
I'm just about to buy a 2000 SS, How can I be sure an SS is really an SS? the car has cloth seats, but has the spoiler and hood along with badging... I'm thinking the only way to verify is to check the RPO codes?

Call SLP and give them the VIN. Only way to be 100% for sure.

Check the inside of the drivers door near the where the door latch mechanism is located.

That means nothing, as leather was not standard on SSs anway.

Look for the WU8 RPO.

Awesome, thanks guys, checked it out, and she has he code, and also the slp docs with it too, I hadn't asked about it before, well, sounds like I'm going to own both a Trans Am and an SS, that sure is wonderful...
