yeah i want to buy it back from the insurance and part it out to put those mods on a new car but still waitin on the whole insurance process. Everyone made it out ok animals include but it really blows losing both your cars

after getting everyone else aware of it and out of the house, the VERY first thing i woulda grabbed would have been my keys, so i could move the car

unfortunately i wasn't home when the fire started. They said it was caused by fireplace ashes that were thrown away in the trashcan.

not that this is a laughing matter, but i find it funny that none of us, including the OP, seems to care about the house lol. Guess this proves that we r absolutely nuts about our cars!!!

 

Sorry for your loss. The good news is that your family and pets made it out...as tough as it is to swallow, the house and cars can be replaced, but the family and pets can't. Best of luck to you in the rebuilding.

 

Shortblock and driveline should still be good. Tear it down, sleeve it, stroke it, anything you want. Hopefully it's a blessing in disguise.
