i just watched the movie The Marine. it had a nice ls1 f-body cop car in it and it was a manual. i thought all of the f-body cop cars were A4's..just wondering if im wrong on my assumption or if they just painted an f-body to look like a cop car

There was a feature in GMHTP, a year or so back, of a cop car. It was modded...think it even had n2o. That car was an A4.

I can definelty see hollywood doing some dumb **** like that but at least they saved a nice SS from being totaled.

True, I noticed that too. If you look at the rear it does not have the SS spoiler. That was how i first new it was not an SS and I had a big sigh of relief.

Yeah probaly used a 6cyl for the wreck or the whole time. In this one movie they have two impala SS' but when they flip them you can see that they were 4.3l caprice classics with SS wheels and paint and such. Hollywood does stuff like that all the time.

Its not dumb ****, hollywood is on a BUDGET, they can't afford to go buy 4 SS Camaros for a movie when they can get a V6 and throw on a little bit of fiberglass. Its not a car movie so almost nobody cares or notices. Just like the Fast and the Furious series. ALMOST all the cars were just made to look good with stock motors. I know that the Supra, Skyline, and Challenger were "for real" fast cars, not sure if any others were
