not to play devils advocate, but when youre 'messing around' on snowy roads.....in a 400hp rear wheel drive.....youre asking for trouble

Yeah we totally understand this.

But it is also the rear ended stories I've been hearing...

the rear ending stories have to be the freakiest of the ones I've read... it's just like you are there minding your own business and then whack

One has to be careful driving these cars in winter weather. It's all about finesse not speed. Once I was crossing a bridge and there were at least 5-6 cars smashed up on both sides of the bridge. Getting around them was like something out of a war movie when the car goes around the wrecks slowly. It was kinda surreal that this f-body was navigating on an icy bridge around these cars. Sure got some strange looks that day from the people there.

Dumb! Why would you be driving you car in this crappy weather anyway? RWD, slick icy road conditions, and stupidity = disaster. I don't mean to be mean, if fact I feel bad for your friend, I am sure he feels like crap about what he did. But it seems like common sense.

Not in this weather, its just not smart. Expecially when the tempeture can change drastically and bam! you have ice. Winter time is about being safe - having fun with friends and gaining...more weight (its the hibernation, i swear).

Buy a cheap ecobox with fwd if you need to show of when it´s wintertime.
With this speed of wrecked Trans Ams i can soon ask for 100.000$ if i decide to sell my car.

Just some rich guy with 20's on it. Got real pissed when he found out that 2 broken tail lights, bumper, the trans am center piece in the back, and the trunk getting re-aligned was gona cost him that much. Hell the WS6 emblem alone cost $150

i guess everyone's a driving saint, and never messes around in good messing around conditions. everyone must be a perfect A+ driver.. I think by the time he got out of the car he understood he shouldn't have been dicking around, so i don't think we need to be mom and tell him to!.

I don't drive either of my f-bodys in bad weather.....I have a Tahoe for that. It sucks seeing all these f-bodys in accidents.

But it stoped in a snow pile. It may have been a nice day but with snow on the ground im sure it wasnt good weather.

Sorry about the car. Although hopefully you learn from his misfortune and dont mess around when there is and type of weather. It can go bad in a second.
