Ive got my tranny out to do a swap and want to install headers while im under it. would it be easier to install the headers w/ trans installed or removed. i know it will be easier. just not sure if there going to mess me up putting the tranny back in. anyone ever do it this way?

I found installing the headers 100 times easier with the tranny out.
I have an M6 so I was able to pull the bell housing off and mount it on the motor then put the rest of the tranny up there.
I don't know if the A4 bell housing comes off or not.
I did install SLP long tubes so they are notorious for all the space they take, another brand may cause no issues with the Tranny.
