Default How to start?

Well I should have just gotten my f-body before my 240sx, now I want and going to get me an f-body. My question to yall is how should I start? Let me just fill you in on what's going on, I need to sell my s14 to get a 4dr car(not fun getting my baby out the back seat of my 240) but I also want an f-body, now should I

a) sell 240, get a 4dr and save for and f-body
b) sell 240, get 4dr and find a cheap lt1
c) sell 240, get 4dr and find an ls1 roller
d) sell 240, get 4dr and wait 2 years before I can afford an running ls1

don't know which way to go with this and it's driving me nuts thinking about it. PLEASE HELP!!

As much as you'll hate it, d is the best choice. Just buy a 750 to 1500 beater and start saving for a niceN...no pun intended

man if you have probs getting the kid out of the back seat it is only going to get worse with a lsx trust me...anyway, go with a good fam car and then rock the fbody in a couple years or the fbody you want a good price and beater on the same lot and finance for one

If you buy a cheap car, you may regret it later on. All the small fixes that need to be done start to add up real quick. Save up, they'll still be there when you're ready.

Well i'm getting rid of the 240 for a 4dr the f-body would just be a project-toy. It's alot easier for me to get something and fix it than to go out and drop all that cash at once.

im going to go against the grain and tell you if you want an f-body find a lt1 in decent shape if you find a good running one like i did thats pretty stock it wont be far off from a stock ls1 f-body

when my lt1 was stock stock ls1 cars would outrun me but not by very much my car was trapping about 101 when it was stock and at the same track the same day stock ls1 cars were only trapping about 103

the nice thing about the lt1 cars is that they are cheap!! and since they are already so cheap you could ****** one up and sell it down the road for not much less than you paid for it and they are still very fun cars, dont let the haters tell you the opti is a piece either as long as you dont expect a distributor to last the life of the car or the water pump to last forever you are good to go

you should make it an actual poll....

d is the best choice, even though its the crappiest for the time being

Well if you have to have something to play with and work on, and have the time and ability to work on it, then you could pick up something that needs some work. Otherwise save $9k and it will buy ya a pretty decent ls1 if you look around some

get the 4 door, save for 2 years, and get the fbody as a weekend car. by the time 2 years go by and the new camaro comes out and all, the prices of ls1 f-bodies is going to decline.

word of advice: the backseat of a fbody is useless.

Also, I've heard if you drill a weep hole in the bottom of the optispark to let moisture out it lasts longer, anyone ever hear of that, or am I thinking of something else?

if i have to wait 2 years till the new Camaro comes out might as well get that I have thought about it and now is between ls1 roller or cheap lt1.

p.s. I have an s14 i think my back seat is even worst
