just leave it and spray a 150 shot through it. the nitrous guys swear that you can spray a 175 shot through a stock untuned ls1 all day and not hurt the motor a bit. so you will be just fine with a 150 shot, look at some of the nitrous boards on here.

i was looking at the specs on these cobras and they are not that much quicker than an f-body. i bet you would give him a good run in just your mods, and if you did'nt win i bet a cam swap would seal the deal.

Anyway...gears will help you out. I had 4.10s in my WS6 and they were great. I love my Cobra when it hits second but my WS6 had some real low-end power!

dont get it twisted, i have my own plans for how i want my car to turn out. i just want all of your guys imput on how to beat this car. if the info provided does not co-inside with my plans then i wont do them to my car. but i wanted to see all range of ideas incase the was some that i overlooked and could be really helpfull, or i could benifit from. no i do not base my build shearly upon who i want to beat this week/month etc. but if it so happens that on my way there i do want to run someone faster, i wanna know the best way to beat them. thanks guys for all the info. its appreciated. and if you got new ideas keep em coming.

My friend has an 01 6spd with intake, headers, ory, and cutout...no tune. Lost to a 441whp SC cobra by a car. With a tune it may have been a little bit closer race. With a 150 shot it wasn't even a race anymore. He demolished him. Guy was asking if anyone wanted to buy a cobra after the race LMAO!

Whats the point of even bringing up the fact that a cobra "could" have a kenne bell 2.2L blower in it?? I would bet there's absolutely more supercharged/turboed ls1's then there are kenne bell cobras FOR SURE!
Head/cam setup just to beat a cobra is expensive. N20 is probably the cheapest, easiest way to get huge, SC/Turbo type of power gain.

look i owned a 02 WS6 with lid and exhaust it went 13.1 with my crappy driving. i raced a stock 03 cobra that only had DRs. he punished me! pulled in every gear he pulled some if not a lot. i have an 03 cobra now... with a little money in mods they are turn into a beast. my buddy's 04 cobra with intake,exhaust, pulley and tune did 11.9 in the quarter. on nitto 555 DRs. and he admits he sucks at driving. they are something to be reckoned with. unless you dump a lot of money into getting heads and cam. or spray 150 shot good luck my friend.

me with bolt ons, no tune im not sure if i had the ls6 intake on or not
he has stage 4 port on eaton 15lbs boost and cat back.

cobra in last race is the camera car in this race.
me same mods in th erace with the cobra. the gt in this video is a 02 with a intercooled 2.1L kb with supporting mods 9lbs---he just but down 470 on a dyno jet. in our race he has stock gears, he just added 3.73s and was trapping 117 the other week.

well i found him on the road sat. night, we ran from a dig. you all were right. dig was the only way to run him. he had traction issues. i pulled him 1.5cars till 3rd then he walked by me like i was nothing. he put 2 on me the rest of the way. but i had fun. next comes a cam. then i want to run him again.
