gm high tech im not sure if this is the right place for this question but here it goes. to everyone that has a subscription to GM High-Tech magazine, what was the last issue you all got? ive renewed my subscription but it seems like forever since i got a new magazune. im just wondering if i missed any issues..

February 2008. It has the SOM Dick Harrell Camaro on the cover. I've had the issue for a while, so I'm thinking a new one should be coming soon.
yeah i got the one with the SOM camaro on the cover!! but ive been waiting forever for this months issue!! it was supposed to be on newstands 1/1/08? thats the only problem with that magazine. not enough pages, and it takes forever for a new issue to come out.

Well I'm looking at the May 08 issue sitting here. Its subtitle reads The Outher Limits with the Live a Little Safety inserts. Now I'm getting last issue alerts that my subscription runs out in Janurary but it seems I'm not getting the latest news with the latest issue. How about RPM in Garner setting 2 new worlds records at the LSX shootout? Hell that was months ago. But sure enough last month issuse had a guy shooting for the fastest Nitros Camaro. HELLO! Will I reup NO! You can damn sure tell these guys didn't work thru Christmas like I did. I am very disappointed to say the least with GMHTP MMagazine. Anybody?

i thought about subscribing so it saves me a trip to the book store, but why subscribe when the issues never come out on time. they are lacking alot of stuff for sure. even my wife says " why do u buy that magazine. it only has 10 pages." lol..it doesnt even have a tech section. MM&FF has like 4 pages of tech questions. and plus, we need more build ups and also more head to head in performance parts. the best they did was just the airlid. they should do a header vs. header shootout and things like that. instead of just putting the 10 best budget bolt ons for your lsx car!!
^^^lol exactly what my mustang friends say. Their magazines are like novels compared to gmhtp. But yeah the dick harrell issue is the last one i got. thats what happens when they only make 9 issues a year.
i love the mag but...9 issues for 20 bucks? i wait for the mail guy hoping it shows up,and then theres a GN and cobalt article cluttering up good pages. ill still renew but i guess my car crafts are stil the read of choice.(im still old school i guess...considering i still have about 6 "GEN1" 350 4 bolts layin around collecting rust in the cylinders)

i believe i got the march issue. front cover is a camaro dragging the back bumper. it also has lsx event coverage in it, but i am missing pages 11 thru 18. doesnt seem they were ever in there

I've gotten magazines before that were "custom" from the printing facility too

With the internet offering instant information, the sponsors would be wasting money to do such a thing if you ask me. They're best bang for the buck is right here online.
Yea i am completely pissed off at GMHTP. I wont be renewing my subscription. The reasons above are 100% correct. 9 issues a year? what the heck? There are thousands of new posts on here everyday with new questions about a car they stopped making 6 years ago, that I wouldn't think of in my wildest dreams. all they need to do is get on here and read for 5 mins and they would have a whole dictionary of ideas for articles. Hell, I think there are more pages of ads in the back then there are articles. And yes I am frustrated to see 5.0 mustang magazines that put ours to shame in quality and depth of coverage.
