One thing I want to let everyone know is, I tried to disable my auto headlights by cutting the orange wire going to the (G) terminal. It didn't work. I couldn't tell anything different. I crimped it back together and said the hell with it. Car is a 00 Z28. Any one else have any luck disabling the auto headlight function this way? If so what year is your car, and what color wire did you cut?

Do you mean you cut the wires going to the sensor under the vent in the top of the dash?

No. I removed the switch that turns the headlights on. I followed the same write up that is the third one down at the beginning of this post.

So you have no control of your headlights? They come up automatically?

I pulled the radio bezel out and just unplugged one of the harnesses to the sensor. It takes away your DRL's and automatic headlights. But if you want DRL's, just turn on the parking lights. No cutting, no splicing and no paperclips.
