how do you turn off the head lights

has anyone tried to push the dome light button 4 times real quick to see if it works on the f-bodies, Im pretty starting in 2000+ the trucks/suvs anyway it works on mine, and a buddies 01 tahoe

One thing I want to let everyone know is, I tried to disable my auto headlights by cutting the orange wire going to the (G) terminal. It didn't work. I couldn't tell anything different. I crimped it back together and said the hell with it. Car is a 00 Z28. Any one else have any luck disabling the auto headlight function this way? If so what year is your car, and what color wire did you cut?

No they don't; the only thing that stays on are the parking lights

No. I removed the switch that turns the headlights on. I followed the same write up that is the third one down at the beginning of this post.

YES THEY DO.....SENSOR under dash plastic..in front of pass. ....beside the blinking alarm lite.....pull out sensor and stick a u-clip/c clip in...problem over...now u turn lights on by the switch yourself..

I pulled the radio bezel out and just unplugged one of the harnesses to the sensor. It takes away your DRL's and automatic headlights. But if you want DRL's, just turn on the parking lights. No cutting, no splicing and no paperclips.
