The only way to get money out of mods is to remove them from the car and sell them. Modded cars do not sell for (Car cost+Mod cost/labor)...just doesnt work that way. Granted if you have a very 'clean' car with some tasteful accent mods...it helps it sell for the higher end of the market value.
I got rid of my Custom procharged C5 last year. Removed the Supercharger and what I could easily get off without marring the appearance and traded it in.
Edit- BTW...there isnt a day since that I dont regret getting rid of that car.

Doing the same thing RIGHT now. Got WELL over 30k in mine(white '98 WS6,9 sec. street car) and its for sale in the classified forum for $17,500. Something else to consider (if its an option for you) is a partial trade, get some cash and another car.
It is really hard to get what you want for them immidiately, but there is a shoe for every foot! I had my wifes drag radial mustang for sale for a while then took it off the market. A few weeks later a guy came buy to pick up some other parts I had for sale and ended up buying the car for $28k(actually made money!) So you never know. Anyway nice car and good luck with your sale! Heres my ad if it helps

There are people out there that will pay good money, just might take time to find them. A guy once offered my brother 25k+ for his head/cam 99 SS because he liked the way it sounded. Guy was serious too. From his business card, he probably had the money to back it up.
I know what its like to have ridiculous amounts of cash in a car. Mine eats cash... I wouldn't feel right selling it.

I don't think $32,000 is to over the top for what you have. Anyone who is into preformance cars knows it's tough to find anything that nice and that fast for that kind of money.
