if i had 35 grand, i would do more than a 408...around 434 or bigger...twin turbo setup (or ati f1a) ...take care of all the suspension...get a build 4l60e tranny atleast (id prefer th400) w/ss3600 verter... strange s60 rear w/ 3.73's...upgrade the brakes all around... get some fiske fm10 or fm 5 wheels for the street and bogart d10's for the track...get it installed (whatever you need help with) and tuned...and call it a day...that should just about take care of 35k with some left over i think

well i was thinking of the lsx 427 ci block. so what do we f body's use the f1a (i thought that was something that were made for the cobras) or the f1r. like i said earlier suspensions and all that is goin to happen so im not worried about that. and why a th400, i wouldn't be able to do alot of highway racing. and i already have a moser ford 9"
