i just got mine at 17, about to turn 18. i make pretty good money for a young teenager during the summer so i can afford it.

No LSX for me, yet. I'm 19 and just finally got my first LT1. I would've gotten an LS1, but didn't want to mess with a loan. I figured that just paying for the car, when I got it, in cash, would be the best and easiest thing to do.

im 20 now, had my first trans am when i was 16. Also to prove the stereotype wrong, i never did wreck the car or get tons of tickets. However i drove with a lot more sense than some kids do i guess.

got my v6 at 17...just sold that and got the 98 t/a at 18. as well as many others...my parents wont pay for ANYTHING. which is good i guess because i probably would not have bought a camaro/trans am if they chose.

18 and already addicted....

43 yrs old, I make most of my car payments, mom still helps with the gas. I live in the basement of moms house which helps with the money thing. Have been at my Pizza Hut job for 4 years now, it wont be long before I move into a management position. It helps that I get free meals at work and mom fixes dinner when she gets off work at the factory. Dads life insurance money came in handy to pay for some of the mods, this stuff aint cheap.
