I'm sure we won't be driving anything like we are driving now . It will probably run on some sort of alternative fuel also. I just hope whatever it is I'll be driving in the future has plenty of power, if a gas powered V-8 becomes extinct the sound will be greatly missed.

Question for you college students that keep your LS1 on campus. Ever have to worry about some drunken idiot messing with your car?
I'm kind of glad I had my 86 Monte Carlo when I was in college. Had a 350, and sure it was slow compared to my f-body, but if something happened to it I wouldn't be too worried. Like when some jackass put a dent in the front fender in the parking lot. Just seemed like people drove and parked like idiots at college, or some drunk would be jealous of a nice car and mess with it.

I left mine on campus my first semester, but now i might drive it twice a semester for special occasions (the usual mustang smack talk, and your occasional vtech 100 shot honda's... and leave it under the lights... It isn't like high school though, some of these guys are serious, one had a 450 horse hatch civic, and another has a 04 Cobra with full bolt ons... I don't waist my time with these guys, but I got three door dings my freshman year and had them taken out, i don't park next to anyone anymore. Last year my dads friend sold me his 94 sentra 5spd in good cond. for $150.00. So the camaro stays at home in the garage next to the 66 SS Nova.
