im thinkin of water heater hose hook-up could be used on any vehicle or anything else for that reason. i no window cleaners and carpet cleaners maybe even pressure washers would like it. just plug it in and heat the water.

what? Man the gas gap is supposed to be wedged in the nozzle handle so while you're waiting you can pick your nose and scratch your ***** at the same time.

Anyway....maybe I would do a professional install quality stereo. Plenty to learn by doing it, and either you get a stereo when you're done, or take money from the donor owner. Also you can do it as simple or intricate as you choose. As far as it already exists, so does a shift gate.

I want EVERYTHING Knight Rider had on that Trans AM, but on a LS1 body/engine. I mean the noises, the lights, the computer, everything. Didn't he have weapons on his too? I want that. I also want that thing that kid has in Jumper, I want to be able to make my car go the 35 miles I have to drive to work in a half second. Bam. there I am.

ok, all jokes aside (even though I really like the Knight Rider idea), I really think you should look into a conversion kit for the front end of the LS1 body style to go back to the LT1 body style. Some people are probably going to flame me for this, but I never liked the head lights and the front end of the LS1 body. I think the engine is so much better in the LS1, but I don't like them as much because I think what they did to the LS1 Camaros softened up a little too much in appearance. I think the LT1 front ends with the recessed headlights (that don't get all foggy like the LS1 head lights by the way) look so much meaner, but then you might have to find a way to get around how poorly the LT1's cast light on the road.

Two things in my opinion. 1.) Would be the SS/Z28 intake for the 3800 93-96 cars. 2.) A rear tub kit take doesn't take much mods to make fit for us guys that run 17x11 and wider tires so it looks good lowered.

what you should do is pick what ideas you are capable of doing and make a poll with them in it. then you can see how much interest there would be in a saleable version.

i also think that it would be cool to have a 'ricer' option. you pull up to a light and some kid starts to rev his coke bottle, you hitthe ricer button and a huge wing pops out, gfx so low a dime wouldnt fit under them, neon so bright it looks like a space ship, stickers slowly disolve onto the car EVERYWHERE, a kickin stereo starts hittin that tunes, the SS hood doesnt change cause thats what all the ricers are using, your exhaust melds into one huge pipe, the LS/LT becomes DOHC with VTEC, and a super hot **** star pops into the seat holding a video camera and yelling "holy **** holy ****, you got em DAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM."
then make it so the car has a tracking beacon locator and a little gun to shoot them onto the ricers, so you can track him all night (well, at least till it gets dark and he has to go home for supper) and you can drive by him all night while he is crying to his friends.

^^lol
that looks cool and no idea whos car that is, but if its not reinforced somehow i would hate to hit something. i can see that roof getting the urge to touch on impact.

you'd need some sort of secondary reinforcement in the doors to stop it from crumpling. but sometimes the end result is more important than the (potential) hospital visit. lol

so we are back to rufie dart gun and ricer button, unless those have been done before also. hahahahah

i dont think a targa would be structurally unsound. it wouldnt have any less support than a convertable would it? but a targa kit would be a bit advanced to make as a product to market. as awesome as it looks most people would be afraid to cut their car up to have one.

if 4ths are anything like 3rd gens, theres sheetmetal rocker reinforcements that are screwed onto the car with sheetmetal screws (at least thats what they look like).
just enough reinforcement to pass but i would def throw on a set of connectors.

i used to have this idea to get a set of the factory convert reinforcements to put on my 3rd but after i seen the screws i opted for something that would actually work.
