I was dead set on getting a C5 ZO6 before I decided to get a low milage hardtop Firehawk Formula instead. I have wanted a hardtop Firehawk for years and I couldn't pass it up. I will probably still buy a C5Z eventually. Congratulations on your new ride.

Let me throw a question at you guys.....what do you think about going black with the wheels. I have been on the fence about this for a while. I just cant pull the trigger, so let me no what you think.

Thats a nice car and a good deal. I have been going back and forth in my head for about 3 months about getting rid of my SS for a c5 z or a c6. If i wanted to i could go to a local dealership and trade in my SS for a c5 z with low miles right now. But i just can't let go of my SS so i'm trying to wait so i can have the SS and a vette 
I think black wheels with a polished lip would look real good. I would go with some 11" wide wheels in the back that have a nice size lip on them

can't go wrong with black on black, i'd consider lowering it too. The stance on this mod's z is erotic

That does look amazing!!! I think I am going to go that route soon.
Yeah, I plan on lowering it very soon on the factory bolts. If my jack puck gets here before the weekend I will do it this weekend.
TooMuchRice...If you happen to come in here, I assume your car is not lowered on factory bolts and you bought new ones? From what I have read you can not get much more than an inch and a half from the facts.
