hes right... we have about a 16 + 1/2 gallon tank so it cant be more than 100 pounds difference on an empty tank

every time i fill my car up with the gas light on i get around 13 gallons.... so its only about 80lbs less then....

there was nothing in my car except for a bucket of car wash stuff.... maybe 15 pounds

its a fully loaded SS m6 with a FULL tank of gas(just filled it) i will weigh it again when its nice out.... and get the front/back weigh ratio

it was 3830 with me in it.... im about 195 pounds still need to check about all that cow **** on the scale... make sure its zeroed out next time
So I guess subtract 190(your weight) and say 99 pds (gas) give or take 5-10 pds so......3641 all car! Hmmmmm, Im saying that the scale you were on wasnt calibrated. Some times if a scale was bumped or driven off of wrong the scale goes crazy. I was in a warehouse and walked by a scale and decided to weigh myself.....and it said 260 I was scared shitless, i knew i wasnt eating that great but ends up it was 65 pds off. You get the jist.

My SS weighed 3440 with Lt's and dumped duals. I also have a full nitrous kit with a bracket to hold the bottle and the bottle was full. The car also had all the wiring from my sub system in the trunk. I also had a full tank. So i think without the nitrous kit and wiring from the subs and less gas my car would weight in at about 3390.

With me in it the car weighed 3620

Don't know if anyone would care to hear or not but for comparison my 3rd gen Z28 with LB9/700r4, (me + passenger = 300lbs), no rear seats, spare or jack, 1/2 tank of gas was 3650lbs. That would be 3350lbs without any occupants.

Mine weighed 3520 with a 1/4 tank and the jack and spare still in it. It weighs more than when stock because of the suspension/chassi mods.

it is really hard to find a scale that is accurate unless it is a certified scale at a truck stop or something like that most scales at business have variances in them to the businesses advantage lol

3320 here with me in the car, (all 125 lbs of me lol!). car as no emissions, LT's with flowmaster 1 chambers clamped to the collectors (no crossover dumped under the car its a ton lighter than TD's and I don't care about a loosing low end torque with my stall), on skinnies, no front bar, Bias ply ET streets on stock wheels (Bias plys are 1/2 the weight of the pig heavy DRs), no rear seats or seat belts, no jack or spare, no AC, even Vig 3600 converter that I run cuts a decent amount of weight because its a smaller diamater than stock on 1/2 tank of gas. Other than the rear seats and seat belts all the interior and sound deadening is there. I've run high 12.4x - low 12.5's and around 111 with crap 1.8 60's. Before the Long tubes and when I still had AC I ran 12.6's with 1.6 60's. My car is still stock internal too. Good 60' and weight loss = fast track times...

Edit.. doh.. meant 3320 lbs not 3420.. lol!

Probably because camaros don't have as much body to them, no flares, vents, small wing... also no pop up headlights. it may only be a few lbs here and there but add it all up I bet its around 100 lbs difference.

My 98 Formula shipping weight is listed as 3455 LB. I weighed it with a full tank and it weighed 3580 LB. Since they are shipped with about 3 gal of gas I would guess that is right on.

Default 2000 ss weight......

Ok so here are the specs from Gm........A manual trans ss fully loaded coupe was said to be 3306.......Gas weighs 6-7 lbs depending on temperature...
The ss has a 17 gallon tank(16.8 exact I think?!)
So do the math 17x 7 = 119 lbs ...........ss weighs 3306
3306+119= 3425...... which is 30lbs short of your weight.....
Now do you have a bunch of crap in your car?
Books clutter...box amp......Shotgun.....Midget....Lead filled blowup doll?

Nah I'm just playin but that seems about right to me....
