Paying for your mods...

Yup I just got mine payed off from the end of summer, so say about 4 months to pay off close to 10 grand. It was a great deal and couldn't let it go. I knew I could easily pay it off in a few months with tight savings and I did. Otherwise CC are stupid and I jsut cut one up. The other has been at 0 ever since I got it payed off and staying that way. I got a line of credit that I use for just about everything. House reno's some car parts, etc. I initially got it to purchase my car instead of a loan for 2 reasons.
First, it was bought from out of the country so the bank couldn't 'search it' so they gave me a line of credit off my house. Second it was a better interest rate than not only a *** raping credit card but a loan too. Plus its like another account I can withdrawl and credit money to/from via online banking. I am fairly smart about it and try to resist the hp bug. Credit cards are not worth it and the ole lady wanted to get one but I told her she couldn't. I remember my father once telling me several time one of the best days he ever had was cutting off his credit card once he got it payed off.

I have a bass pro rewards visa that I charge all my mods to then I pay it off RIGHT away. This way the card is payed, I build credit, and have store credit at BPS to buy other things.
