How can you verify an SS hood is in fact OEM and not aftermarket?

Just wondering if there was a way to verify that an SS hood is indeed a factory hood and not an aftermarket. Is the part number stamped on it in a specific place?

theres a part number on the bottom of the hood.

Thanks! Different years different part numbers? I looked on my Z and it had a number but it was in the standard GM part number form. Thanks for the help!
