Another tip for the OP, practice your speed shifting with out being full throttle or high speeds. This way in the event of a 3-2 shift instead of a 3-4 you will not mechanically over rev the motor.

btw, I'm guessing the problem didn't happen in 3-4 shift, but downshifting from a low rpm 6th or 5th for takeoff, which is where I had a problem on day one, but like I mentioned before, the self centering info takes care of that issue.

^ The OP said he missed the 3-4 shift and went into 2nd twice. What do you mean shifting from 6th or 5th for take off? I'm confused?
