dude.. you honestly shoved a key with passkey into a door lock?
i sure hope you didn;t ruin it.
for future reference:
ignition key is for ignition
door key is for door
a child could break into one of these cars... just pull the window back and either open the door.. or unlock the t top

Pulling the window out like that won't break anything? I wouldn't have thought to do that. I always assumed it was somewhat fragile.
They come at a price and may leave you stranded once in a great while, but I've used them countless times for myself and friends to unlock doors (not to mention the piece of mind when I'm on my way to or from the track 
).

Be sure to take the registration in with you at the dealer to prove it's your car. Oh, wait a minute, the registration is in the glove box I'll bet. Never mind................
Seriously, I carry a door key in my wallet. You never know when you will be a victim of those unexpected Brain Farts!

When I was locked out of my car the local fire department pulled in to the gas station where I was at with their pumper truck and unlocked my door for me.
My dad is a firefighter so they were cool about it and glad to help.

Go to an army surplus shop and get a slim jim... all you're doing is pulling up on the rod that goes from the door lock actuator to the lock.
Before I bought this camaro, I was looking at one at a dealership where they started the car and somehow locked it with the keys in the ignition and the car running. They went and got a slim jim and the door opened in about 15 seconds. These cars look like they're real easy to steal.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. Get a slim jim, I never used one before and opened the door in under two minutes. After that I have a different feeling about the security of it, I since installed a hidden ignition kill switch. I also had a spare door key made an have it hidden somewhere on the car. I've used it once already too.

Pry the window out from the frame. Get a coathanger and try to snag the door lock and open it.
EDIT: I wasn't very clear on this. CAREFULLY mush the weatherstripping down with your fingers, on the middle top part of the t-top. Get your fingers behind the glass and CAREFULLY pull the glass back from the weatherstripping. Then get your coathanger(or similar tool) that you have straigtened out and put a little hook on the end. Fiddle with that until you manage to get the door open.
I broke into my car using a stick I found by pressing the unlock button on the door.
