I tow my **** with my other crappy car, I just rent a trailer when I need too. Try to borrow a car with a hitch and rent a trailer:cheap and no extra mileage to pay..

The most is what I had in my 2001 T/A WS6 on the way back from a swap meet. Had 4 passengers, and 2 slicks mounted on rims. I coulden't see out the back window, but it made it fine, just very hard to get the slicks in there.

One time I had me and 7 other people in my 1997 RS. So figure ~150 avg, some girls lighter, some guys heavier... thats about 1200 lbs. It struggled to get to 30-40 mph.

The set-up was... me driving, 2 people in the passenger seat, 3 people in the back seat, and 2 people i the trunk. It was a convertible so the trunk had a little more to it.

Back when I was dumb in my v6 firebird I had 6 people including me in the car. Took forever getting to 100mph lol. Had the t-tops off, windows down, almost 1000 pounds worth of people. Pretty much everything working against that v6! Gave that v6 the 0-100 of its life!

You guys are nuts, can't picture meeting someone in any vehicle, little alone a F-body with a shortblock in the passengers seat, LOL

Well I'm starting to feel better about it. What sucks is my ex gf's prizm has more cargo capacity even with it's 110hp 1.8

My car accelerates good, it even drives smoother, only problem is when I hit anything in the road like an overpass bridge, the pavement transition hits with a bang if it's not perfectly smooth.

It's got C5 brakes that are fairly new, all UMI rear suspension stuff, SFC's, an AAM diff cover that cools the rear and directs more fluid to the axle tubes and hopefully the bearings. This stuff should help a little I hope.

I think you'll be fine. Just take it easy and try and avoid the big potholes and dips.

I took my YFZ450 apart and put it in the Trans Am to haul it from NC to South Dakota so I could make the trip to Glamis, Ca to go riding and it was definately worth it. The only option I had at the time. I was a poor college student. My quad only weighed 350lbs and with 2 people in the car so I figured it was right around the cars capacity. It drove great though. Couldnt really tell much differece in power and braking and still got almost 30mpg granted I wasnt going quite as fast as usual. But I say go for it man.

Just try to avoid the brake checks....dash, engine, ouch. And just to throw it out there, me (250), tv, computer, a few duffle bags plus assorted other crap on a PCS move to ft. hood texas.

Well I made it alright. Everything looks good as far as the car holding up.
I was feeling sick the whole trip and dizzy. Well I got the engine out today and found where the back seat goes was full of power steering fluid, I'm glad I took the seat out. Maybe the fumes got to me.
The car sure feels fast now

No wonder used F-bodies have crappy, rattling interiors. You guys carry all sorts of **** in there. That's gonna accelerate the interior wear and tear.

I've hauled a dorm room full of stuff in mine but nothing as extreme as that.
