And comming from a GM guy.... ARE YOU NUTS... Trade a great car like a Trans AM in on a found on road dead Lighting????

You do need help.....

Maybe if you were trading for a Silverado... but only if you were trading in a Mustang

yea my neighbor has one, they are quick but right now he only gets 210 to the tank and it takes about $90 to fill up.... so to answer your question, if you want a slower car that gets worse gas milage.... then yes trade

Don't do it. Get a lifted truck if you want a truck.

Don't worry.... I corrected my error in brand loyalty I didn't mean to degrade the Camaro, so I edited the post and changed Camaro to say Mustang

I'd trade a Mustang for a Silverado ANY DAY!!!!!!!

GO FOR IT! If its what you want then do it. Drive it and make sure its what you want. I really liked Lightnings until I drove one. They look awesome, but they are terrible in corners. Honestly this is the wrong place to ask for advice about buying a Ford.

Yeah Ls are fast...

Most have to be fully built with KB or Whipple S/C to beat a N/A F-body with boltons. Buts still its comparing apples to oranges.

I had an 04 Lightning, and G35s were a joke. Our 02 WS.6 would only slightly edge it out, when the truck was stock, and the car had a Lid and catback. Now once pullied on the other hand, i was making a heatsoaked 399rwhp/524rwtq with just an intake, pulley(+6psi) and shift kit. It moved out quite well for a truck.

God no. Keep that T/A. It's a lot more performance friendly.
