the Z06 is more than just appearance... as is ws.6.
gm refers to ws6 as a "performance package" on the 4th gen cars and a "suspension package" on the 3rd gens.
i think you realize what makes a Z06. so we'll leave that alone.

Just for the record
The Hurst was a seperate option. ( not included with the WS6 package. )
The RPO code for the Hurst shifter is " BBS "

WS6 is an RPO code for available package option. as per the 2001 brochure. WS6 Performance and Handling Package Includes Ram Air Induction System, Specifically tuned suspension; dual outlet polished exhaust; power steering cooler and specific 17" aluminum high-polished wheels and P275/40ZR17 speed-rated tires. (limited exterior color availability).
