I like the Pennzoil Platinum. If you see it at walmart for under $19.95 for a 5 quart jug jump on it. I seen it once for $11.95, came back later and it was $19.95.
I don't see much price difference between pennzoil and mobil one between walmart and the parts store, walmart is cheaper on the other oils though.

Holy **** we get *** raped here in canada I guess. All oil comes in 4.4L, whether its regular or synthetic. All sythetic blends are 9 bucks for one liter amd about 32 for the 4.4L. You guys have nothing to bitch about, LOL

I saw the mobil one sythetic on sale with the 4.4L and additional 1L for 25 bucks the other day so I bought 2 of them. I was planning on switching from mobil 1 to GC or maybe even Pennzoil Platinum or Rotella T synthetic. I'll be boosted soon so I'll definelty need thicker oil, the mobil 1 is thin enough with my stock n/a system. I didn't like the 5w30 mobil 1 sythetic, this time I'll give the 10w30 synthetic for a last try than switching if its the same result.

At least around here Pep Boys have been running a special on5 quarts of Mobil 1 plus Mobil 1 filter for $29.99 plus tax for quite some time.

I've picked several of them already so I'm good to go quite a few thousand miles.

Then again... I sold my TA 2 days ago, so I'll have to find another one to use the oil in. The Expedition gets regular dino stuff.

I've used Redline & Royal Purple. My LS1 drank RP way too much. Redline was fine.
Overall, I've used Mobil 1 in my 87, 94, 99 and my 02. Using 10w-30 now.

I am going to look into this "formula change" and see what's up though

Ditto, I wonder how everyone is determining if their oil is bad or good.

This just freaked me out cause I assumed they were 5 qts and just dumped in the oil. Thank god I got the 5 qt containers. Both of my cars would have been low.
So you guys really like the RP better ! What is better about it ????? Maybe I should change then ????

You sure you're getting 5 gallons for $20? If you are I'm willing to bet it's recycled conventional oil.
