How to tell difference between LS1 and LS6 intake?

Ok i understand that much. But what are the specs on the different cams please?

98's had the worst flowing heads of all years.
I'm sure this has been asked elsewhere but anyways... Would it be worth installing a pair of 01-02 heads on my 98 if I could find them somewhere for dirt cheap? Or should I just go aftermarket?

Here's an easy way to check without pulling the intake off, etc. etc. etc..

It is a part number on the driver side, easy to see.
97-00 LS1 Manifold #12556333
01-02 LS6 Manifold #12561182
03+ #12573572

or stock ls6 heads. thats another idea.

And for the record, i've seen several 01-02s run 13.0 and better bone stock. Not so much for the 98-00s. So the minor differences dont really balance out.

i searched mine a while back and it turns out I have ls1 intake and not the ls6 my car is an 02 but I guess the previous owner swapped it out
