How to tell difference between LS1 and LS6 intake?

Well what i was really trying to say is wouldn`t it be easier and cheaper to upgrade a 98-00 just because it already has the bigger cam, seens as how well ive never done a cam swap so i don`t know how pricey or how much time it takes. Or do the 2 different cams actually make a big difference i guess is what i`m really trying to ask.

Here's an easy way to check without pulling the intake off, etc. etc. etc..
It is a part number on the driver side, easy to see.
