I really hate UPS...
Especially on Fridays! Unless the package gets to the hub by 2-3am... you'd have to wait til Monday! I look at the tracking and see that the package has been at the hub since 9am-11am...dang, it won't go out that day! But if it was FedEx, you can guarantee it will be delivered that day!

yeah...it's not UPS's fault that you didn't get your headers on Saturday...you'd have gotten them if you'd paid extra for Saturday delivery.....
that said, it IS their fault that you'll probably get them with a few extra bends in them......hope you paid extra for insurance......

Hey eff you peeps, I work for UPS. Only stuff that is delivered on Sat are special Saturday deliveries. Things are still processing in the facility, but the customer center is not open. Youll get it first thing on monday..
If you want something to go out on a saturday it has to be NDA or 2DA
They are #1 for a reason..

No offense to Dimitri-, but UPS sux *****. I've bought a few things from Thunder Racing and they use UPS. A couple of times I come home from work and damn UPS driver leaves the box under my WELCOME mat, making the mat now about one foot off the ground like nobody would notice it.
I work at Southwest Airlines and when UPS pulls up, rolls open the back door our "Fragile" high dollar aircraft parts fall out. They stack boxes about as well as an paraplegic with alzheimers because half of our boxes are by the front near the driver, and well the other half fell out the door when they opened it.
We only ship out FedEx. When they drop off all boxes are stacked right and for the most part cared for. One thing I can say about UPS is that they wash their trucks, FedEx trucks I see are always dirty. lol
BTW - No Saturday delivery on either one unless you paid extra for it. Wait, go look under your WELCOME mat!![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
Peace,
Craig.

i used to work at UPS for a short period of time. ill tell ya that when the boxes get loaded up on trucks, the sorters just pretty much throw all the boxes in the truck. they dont carefully place the packages. they just toss the **** in there. they do have to get all the packages loaded up quick because the drivers have to deliver.

I work for UPS, too. Agreed... they suck.
If you send anything UPS, make sure it's packaged VERY well. They don't allow the employees time to care about damaging packages. They don't even allow them time to notice if a package says "FRAGILE" on it. So we're bastards. We will definitely break your tea cups.
The driver's are a bunch of lazy, whining bitches. They do NOT care how your packages are stacked or where they're left. They just want to go home ASAP.
On the plus side, in my experience, they ship much faster than FEDEX or USPS.
I see a lot of heavy packages that are already falling apart by the time they reach our facility. Styrofoam flying all over the place, pipe fittings all over the conveyer, noone cares. Not really any different than the wally world warehouse.
I don't really know much about Saturday delivery. I work Mon-Fri early mornings. We recieve the packages that'll be delivered that day and load them on the trucks for the drivers. As far as I know, my shift doesn't exist on Saturdays.
