Angry Cat problem...

I"m wondering if there are any convertible guys out there who also have cats, the felines not converters, because for some reason they enjoy laying on the top of my CETA and i'm slightly worried about them causing a dip in the roof or causing it to slack. Not to mention they shed a little and i'm constantly finding little hairs all over the top. Any suggestions on keeping them off of the car? I know it sounds stupid but help would be nice seeing as i'm leaving for a month and would like some way to keep them off.

move the litter box elsewhere, the smell is worth keeping your top intact, and if you clean it on a regular basis, its really not too bad

I heard hair spray works... you can try that and vinegar. Spray it around the car and I hear they wont' come near it.

Some googling has supported the spray things around the car idea. I'll give it a shot, stupid cats.

Just hair spray the cats. Won't fix them getting on top of you car but they'll be funny to look at with there hair all poofed out. That or hit em with a hammer.

lol wonderful suggestions... but they absolutely hate liquid cayenne pepper diluted with water. sprayed it around the car and surrounding items, they won't go near it. In case anyone else has the same problem

I was going to say you could just shave them lol. It looks like you found a way though.
Will they not just jump over it and onto the car though?
I wonder how long it will keep them away

yeah, it's in the garage. it's a three car garage and the car is as far away from their box as it can be and they enjoy getting on top of the cars to see out of the garage door windows. They're indoor only cats so they're curious i guess. I've been told they hate stepping on tin foil too, so i guess i'll put some of that on the roof while i'm gone.
