last time i checked a 402 aluminum short block was under $4500. SLP had it for 4k when they first came out. i will fax you the add if you like. u called TSP and they want 7k? call schwanke i think they are a sponcor here (MN company. ) then $1500 for heads, $400 cam thats what i was thinking.

 

TSP probably quoted you the complete package price. the short block alone at SLP ONLINE is on sale (10% off) $4,136.35 (plus shipping). but if you add heads / cam / oil pump/ etc.. i could see 7k.
