General stupid part question

the following part is located on the drivers side in front of the tire, Im guessing its an air pump of some sort?

and located on the opposite side, appears to be a vacuum canister?

Just wanna make sure the parts are what I think they are.

Its the secondary air injection pump. If you dont have tuning software you will get a CEL if you remove it. The other looks like the charcoal canister. Im not sure if thats where its located on f-bodies.

Thanks guys. I just ordered HP Tuners today, so hopefully I can disable VATS and a couple other things. The engine is being removed and tossed into my girlfriends GMC Sonoma. I'd gladly remove the air pump, but Im worried about her failing emissions without it.
Charcoal cansister is supposedly in the rear of the vehicle according to the underhood sticker. I think I remember seeing some black plasic thing back there when I chopped up my 95 TA also.
