Make sure the recall on the roof panel on your Z06 is serviced. For the '06 and '07 models they used an inferior glue to secure the roof panel and many have flown off while driving! Next agenda would be CAI, Longtubes, and a tune and you are probably around 500whp.
At any rate, I can appreciate your attachment to the Camaro. That would be great if you could have both. But, if you can't buy it back before it sells then maybe you can negotiate visitation with the buyer? You know, make sure the new owner is taking care of such a nice car.
I am curious to know what you got this Z06 for at the auction.

I know how you feel man, I get attached to every car I own. Hell, I bought my first new car when I was 21,a Cavalier, and I can't even let that thing go! I'm pretty sure the Z06 will make you forget.

i was the same way when i sold my 97 T/A. i did so much to it, fresh paint, the thing was absolutely immaculate. in, out, under, everything. i bought a 02 WS6 and i was regretting selling the 97 cuz the WS6 wasnt perfect. it was fine, but not perfect.
took about a week of driving an LS1 to change my mind

well the car is on its way, should be here around 2 or 3. But i came up with a good solution for my Camaro. I last night convinced my little brother to buy it who just turned 17 because i know he will take care of it and at least it will still be in the family. Then in a couple years when he wants to sell it i will have enough money and buy it back. Problem solved!
