Default ??????? about LS2

Hey, I am thinking about going with a built 402ci LS2 shortblock. Will LS1 heads and intake swap over to the block? Will the 241 GTP Stage 2+ heads that I have now work with it? I also have a FAST 90 with a NW 90mm TB that I am planning on using also. So when it is all said and done, what is the best thing to do? I have everything pulled and am ready to order an engine. Going from a H/C LS1 to the LS2 block, what all will I need to order as well as the built shortblock to make it run and what all will swap over from the LS1. Thanks!!

TTT for a nice car/local!

This is a little off your topic...

but I was wondering what you were going to do with your other motor once you swap it out?

Thanks Guys. I just went with an LS6 instead. A lot less hassle!!! lol. I ordered it yesterday and I should finally have it up and running in about a week or so!! It will just be a stock LS6 with a FAST90/NW90 and LT headers for a while and then in a year or so I will be looking for a decent heads/cam package!!! Thank You!

why did you go with a ls6... a ls6 is usually slower than a h/c ls1, since they are the same displacement. nothing negative, ls6's are badass, just wonderin.

I found a crate engine LS6 minus the intake for 3200. Could only afford stock for now and then later on will be looking for heads/cam and the LS6 would be a little quicker for this year or two!!
