Default G8 Rental

I'm heading up to Columbus, Ohio for a little vacation this summer and since I never have a need to rent a car I might as well splurge a little. Just wondering if anybody knew if any of the renters at the Columbus airport rented G8's?

Thanks. Would it be in the Premium or Full Size class?

I would be quite surprised if any rental places would have G8's, but if they do, I'd say they'd be at least Premium class.

I saw another G8 today and I have to say that I'm still not too impressed by its looks.

i dont like the looks either, but if i had a family and was shopping for a good car that would hold a family comfortably and still be fun to drive... id be all over it.

I know for a fact they rent them at the airport by me. I guess I just need to call them and see if they have any I can reserve. Just need to make sure its a GT or I'm saving my money and renting a Cobalt.

am i the only one hung up on the "heading up to Columbus, Ohio for a little vacation" part? never thought i would hear someone from florida use columbus, ohio and vacation in the same sentence.

Yeah, I agree. Too many people would rape those things. Not like people drive the **** out of rental cars already.

I doubt it the rental place anywhere would have the GT G8. I am sure they would have the V6 version for the public to drive. I agree with Krazy4 people already drive rentals real hard. Not to mention the insurance rates for a V8 for the company and the drivers.

Saw in a magazine that Hertz has a special Corvette just for them. Rent it then take it to the track
