Qtp
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with QTP (Quick Time Performance) They make a bunch of exhaust components which seem to be pretty nice to me, all stainless steel. I was looking to buy some of their long tubes. Here's their website, it seems legit to me. http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/

I would probably get their headers and Y pipe, i can get the headers for about 100 less on Ebay. I would probably get a different brand of cutout, seeing as theirs cost wayyy too much. Also, seeing as I have an 02 TA, i would not need EGR/AIR fittings, correct? i understand i might need O2 sensor extensions or just tune them out.

I have QTP LT and ORY and the headers are great with the polished stainless. the y-pipe is not bad either mine just hangs alittle low which people say if you play with it enough and adjust it that it fits really good and it does have a flow master merge collector also i just have not adjusted mine yet so thats probably why it is low. Prices are alittle steep but if you look at other stainless headers that are about the same price and sometime you can get in on group purchases like i did but that can take some time to get them but i was in no hurry.

alright. so you figure it would be worthwhile to just get the race version of the headers, delete the 02 sensors and AIR? I also hear that Longtubes might have trouble fitting on A4 verts. but through searching i haven't found any evidence pointing either way...

lots of issues from people with their qtp headers leaking, fitiment is horrible. my passenger side header rests on the k member and i had to hear it clunking all the time so i grinded the k member down some. driver side is a pain to get in the first time you install but after that it's a breeze.
if i had to do it again i'd buy kooks

since when is a horrible fit? personally never heard one word about them leaking, but it's been a while since i've looked on the forums for them. (had em on there for a good year or so now.)
also, you'll only delete one set of O2's, and yes, you'll need to buy extensions, or lengthen them yourself.
check out this thread, skip to the parts about Exhaust.

might be a little dated, but most of it still holds true.

Dont know about the LT's with the Verts as I am a hardtop. A guy i know with a vert didnt seem to have that much trouble with his. But, I think it would be worthwhile to remove all of that crap unless you have to get a visual inspection for emissions stuff where you are. Just dont take out the front O2's. Then when you get a tune just have you tuner delete the codes
