Car finally arrived.
well not too long ago i came across the vehicle in my sig. I picked it up and it has been sitting in my brother's garage out west. After tryin to find time to fly out and pick it up, my bro finally just decided to drive it down here for me. it is an 02 SS with 20,300 miles on it. by the time he got it here, it had 22,600 miles on it but whatever. The car is SICK! it got here thursday night. I washed it and then of course 15 minutes later it rained. Friday, i washed it again, waxed it and of course 15 minuted later it rained. Today (saturday) i wasn't able to wash it, but will tomorrow (just before it rains probably)
So i drove the car a little here and there, to work and what not, but tonight i just couldn't take it anymore, so I hopped in the beast and headed for the freeway. everything was clear so i made a couple of 120-125 mph runs with the tops of and windows down, then i decided to hit some rural twisty roads. Such a blast to drive, and it smells so new still! Car is basically stock, just has a strut tower brace, slp intake and smooth bellows, but it feels substantially more powerful than my 99 ss or my 00 z28. I have quite a bit of parts waiting to go on to the car, so this is going to be fun.

thanks fellas. the car cost me 18k plus ttl. its an m6, the only thing i don't like is that it doesn't have the hurst short throw, but i will probably put a pro 5.0 shifter in it anyways, so oh well. the guy that sold me the car lived in flagstaff, my brother runs a chevy store in cedar city ut so his dealership bought it and took it up to cedar city and then i did my financing and my bro drove it from cedar to here. cedar is like 2 hours out of vegas, so it was about a 23 hour drive for him.

i have hooker lt's (ceramic coated) and ory, b&b triflow exhaust, comp cams 228/230 571/573, patriot gold springs, titanium retainers and black c6 z06 replicas (18" up front 19" out back). I need to get some tires, hardened pushrods, and a new timing chain set, eibach lowering springs, koni double adjustables, and then it is all going on. Probably gonna put some zex wet nitrous on it too. I'll also put on some clear corners and side markers. i can't wait to get it all on.

the ory i have is the hooker ceramic coated. i am debating about whether or not i should throw on an electric cutout. i am interested in seeing how the rims look on it, but i gotta get tires first. i was thinking about powder coating the stock rims white and putting dr's on them for track days, but i will probably sell them for more parts.
