Default Installed my Pace Setter long tubes

After having them for over a month i finally got my headders on.
I have the Pcae setter long tube with off road y-pipe. They took about 4.5 hours to put on. The y-pipe is tight against the body.
Any suggestions on something to go between the frame and the pipe to take out the vibration?

Heat the pipe up and bend it away from the floor board. I would think when the torque of the engine pushes the pipe up (thus when it hits the floor board) I dont think it would be a good idea of having something holding it from moving and putting pressure on the header and block. I could be totally wrong though.

I'd heat it up and bend it if I were you. My friends y-pipe hit the floorboard when he got on it so he shoved a piece of rubber in between the floorboard and the pipe. He said that changed the exhaust tone somehow and he preferred the y-pipe hitting the floorboard over the new sound from the rubber piece. Just a thought... you could try the rubber piece and see if it changes the way it sounds like it did to my friends.

Yes it will melt. Smelled bad, and took a while to clean it off. Unless it's really drivin you crazy I wouldn't worry about it. After a while you kind of get used to it.

radiator hose never melted, but i would just hit it with a hammer and something to spread the blow so you dont dent up the pipe. wait till you put poly motor mounts, it will raise the engine back to the correct hight

Raising the engine is going to make it worse.
I just took my Y and held it down and welded it to the collector. The Y is what bangs.
If you wedge something in there the header takes the stress of keeping the engine from twisting, they will eventually crack or I guess maybe bend.
