You did see OP's post where he said he works at the dealership that the car was traded in at, right?
Makes it much easier to find such a deal if are employed at a place like that. Otherwise you can forget about finding a deal like that anytime soon.

Yes the previous owner...he let that LS1 go to the dealer for probably a little more then $1000...meaning he could of wrecked the car, took out the engine and NEW trans that he just spent $1200 on, and sell those 2 things alone for $2300....im not gonna even get to the part-out part...

nice find, i wish i could find a pontiac, i got my 2000 z28 with 95000 for $2000, the guy was a higher up at disney land, left the car at the shop, it needed a new pilot bearing and the rearend rebuilt, the shop wanted 5000 to do it so he said *** it went straight to the dealership. I stumbled across this two years ago when we were pickin up a eaton unit for my buds 98ss. Keep in mind my 2k z28 was fully loaded, the only option it didnt have was the ss. And to top that off i just picked up a 98 z28 for 1600, we drove it home, The car is clean but no ttops and this ones auto, anyways the guy was selling it cheap cause it was "leaking" and the shifter wasnt workin right. Got home threw it on ramps, the shift bracket had one bolt in it and it was flappin aroung not to mention all the trans bolts were fingertight "leakin". Did a service and put 200 miles on it so far.![Hijacked!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/myhijacked2.gif)
